§ About
This blog is a collection of my musings on algorithmic trading, sports analytics and on anything where numbers meet the world in an interesting way.
While pursuing my undergraduate degree in Economics at IIT Roorkee, I discovered quant finance and realised how a combination of math, coding, and markets can feel both surreal and practical, more engaging than anything I had studied before. The common thread isn't finance. It's the unreasonable effectiveness of quantitative thinking applied to things that seem, at first glance, unquantifiable. I enjoy building trading strategies, breaking them, refining them, and watching them perform. But I find the same satisfaction in pulling apart any system, sports, culture, economics, and asking: what's the model here?
Most of what you will find here is me thinking out loud, running experiments, chasing rabbit holes, or playing with ideas that caught my attention at 2am. It is less about giving answers and more about documenting the journey.
